Biography

Thomas Malyon is a Brighton based set and costume designer working in theatre, opera, musicals and events.  With a BA in Sculpture from University of Brighton in 2012, he went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Set and Costume Design from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under Head of Design, Gary Thorne in 2016. He has assisted Liz Ascroft, Tom Pye and Anna Fleischle on productions for Porgy and Bess - The Royal Danish Theatre, Tartuffe  – The Birmingham Repertory Theatre, Only Fools and Horses The Musical - Theatre Royal Haymarket, Hangman – The Royal Court, Aeida – The Coliseum and has recently designed for The Guildhall School for Music and Drama, The Royal Academy of Music and The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
